Special Beef Tacos by Grandma Jeannie Scarber
the meat part of the recipe is big, so it could be good for a few meals of leftovers for an average family
Ingredients:
Meat:
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 large onions, diced
- 2 (8oz) cans of Tomato Sauce
- Taco Seasoning to taste
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Garlic to taste
- Chili powder to taste
- Salt to taste
- Any other seasoning you want, to taste
- 2 (15oz) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
Toppings:
- Diced Onions
- Diced Tomato
- shredded Romaine lettuce
- Cilantro, chopped
- Avacado, diced
- Anything else you like on a taco
Other:
- Cheese
- Corn Tortillas
Instructions:
- Cook meat, onions, tomato sauce, and seasonings until the beef is browned.
Add the black beans.
- Prepare and Chop the toppings
- For each person, place a tortilla on a hot pan so that it gets slightly crispy on the outside, while it heats up put cheese on the top side, when the cheese is melted it’s ready
- Put meat and toppings on the cheesy tortilla and don’t go skimpy on meat or toppings (you know tacos aren’t right unless they’re bursting)
- Eat it while it’s still hot, cheese is still melty, and tortilla is still crispy.
